Heritage Days Civil War Period Brunch


The Comus Inn at Sugarloaf Mountain is pleased to participate in Montgomery Heritage Days again this year, with a 19th Century Maryland Brunch Sunday, June 28th, from 11:00-2:00. In addition to historical foods, the Inn will feature Civil War period music. The Comus Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; also known as the Johnson-Wolfe farm, the oldest part of the Inn was built in 1862, at which time the property saw action on the trail to Antietam Battlefield. The property is on the Antietam Civil War Trail, and has two historic markers describing the action at Sugarloaf Mountain. Reservations are strongly recommended.
