Section 1. Scope 

Thank you for visiting Comus Inn At Sugarloaf Mountain, LLC’s (“Comus Inn”, “we,” or “our”) website (“Website”). This Privacy Policy will provide you with information about how Comus Inn collects, uses, and shares information about you, including the choices Comus Inn offers concerning that information, and applies to your use of any Website, regardless of how you access or use it. It does not apply to Comus Inn Inn’s data collection activities offline or otherwise outside of our Website (unless otherwise stated below or at the time of collection). 

By visiting or otherwise using our Website, you consent to Comus Inn’s data collection, use, and disclosure practices, and other activities as described in this Privacy Policy, and any additional privacy statements that may be posted on an applicable part of our Website. If you do not agree and consent, please discontinue use of our Website, and uninstall Website downloads and applications.

Our Website is intended for a general audience and not directed to children less than 13 years of age. Comus Inn does not intend to collect personal information as defined by the U.S. Children's Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") ("Children's Personal Information") in a manner that is not permitted by COPPA. If we obtain knowledge that we have collected Children's Personal Information in a manner not permitted by COPPA, we will remove such data to the extent required by COPPA. 

Any California residents under the age of eighteen (18) who used our Website can request removal by contacting Comus Inn by sending an e-mail to doug@thecomusinn.com or by mail to the address below, detailing what and where the information was provided and attesting that you provided it.

Comus Inn will then make reasonable good faith efforts to remove the post from prospective public view or anonymize it so the minor cannot be individually identified to the extent required by applicable law. This removal process cannot ensure complete or comprehensive removal. For instance, third-parties may have republished or archived content by search engines and others that Comus Inn does not control.

However, we do not make assurances that De-identified data is not capable of re-identification.

Comus Inn, its Service Providers, and/or Third-Party Services may also automatically collect certain information about you when you access or use the Service (“Usage Information”), including device identifier, browser type, and operating system. Comus Inn does not consider Usage Information (including, without limitation, unique device identifiers) to be Personal Information or Comus Inn-collected Personal Information.
